The CAP Lifeskills Course

CAP Life Skills is a friendly 8 week course where we meet together as a group.  You’ll gain practical skills and discover new ways to live for a brighter future.  If you want to see your money go further, have more time and less hassle in your day-to-day life, improve your health and wellbeing and much more, then Life Skills is for you.

What does Life Skills involve?
Life Skills will equip you with tools such as how to eat well, stick to a budget and improve your relationships. You’ll meet with a group of like-minded people, follow an eight-week course and learn practical skills from our trained coaches – and have some fun along the way!

How much does it cost?
Absolutely nothing – our Life Skills group is completely free.

When can I start?
The next free group is planned to start with a Taster Session on
Wednesday  January 18th 2023.  Opening for coffee and social time from 10am.  The Course sessions will begin at 10am and will finish by 12 noon.

It's called Christians Against Poverty so do I have to be a Christian?
Not at all – our services are for everyone. But Life Skills has been developed by respected national charity Christians Against Poverty and as Christians we do like to mention our faith in conversation.  There’s no pressure and we’re passionate about helping people from all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, sexualities, beliefs and faiths, or no faith at all.
